This Saint-Emilion is a blend of 70% Merlot and 30% Cabernet Franc which combines notes of ripe red fruits and spices with aromas of toasted and woody bread.
Fleshy and fruity, this vintage displays a pretty garnet red color. Fine, racy and elegant, this St Emilion red wine is distinguished by its silky tannins.
Nose : Complex combining ripe red fruits with notes of toasted bread and spices.
Mouth : structured, rich and powerful, the palate shows a good balance between fruit and tannins. It shows good length.

Château Cheval Noir maintains a certain secrecy around its vintages.
The few hectares which produce this vintage occupy a clay-sandy terroir and are harvested by hand for classic vinification and double aging, in vats and barrels.
You will find in this Saint-Émilion Grand Cru silky tannins, elegance, notes of red fruits and a characteristic presence of cinnamon. It should be drunk within 5 or 6 years.
